POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Embedded Quality Assurance – Electronics

Objectives:
Working closely with R&D team and cross-functional team. This function will be responsible to secure the quality for Hardware and Software for both new and ongoing projects. In this position you will drive activates that are in world class in quality, cost, function and time to market.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
? Assuring implementation of Electrolux QA Process
? Driving Quality activities in global level inside Elecrolux Small appliances
? Participate in engineering reviews, technical reviews and other meetings related to both embedded and product development
? Continuously adjust, renew and enhance the embedded QA process
? Responsible for scheduling and driving FMEA to capture the risks in early stage
? Understand, feedback and support the development process for embedded development
? Review the verification activity both in module and system level
? Review the Electronic process and implementation of the process for ongoing projects
? Present the risk and issues in right level and require actions to reduce or eliminate risks
? Review Suppliers production and component handling processes to insure the quality level reaches quality targets
? Enhance capability of suppliers to deliver embedded electronic meeting Electrolux quality standards
? Review the sub Supplier process and activity and insure the quality in components level

 
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Academic background:
? Bachelors/Master of Science in Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering

Functional skills:
? Experience in the electronics and software (FW) development for embedded systems
? Experience of working with PCBA manufacturing
? Experience of auditing PCBA manufacturing
? Holding IPC citification related to PCBA manufacturing
? Knowledge in areas such Hardware and Software test and verification
? EMC&ESD knowledge
? Ability to drive the activity by involving R&D, Manufacturing and supplier to maximize on deliverable
? Having a passion for excellence, problem solving and timely delivery
? Ability to work in multi-cultural teams
? Ability to communicate effectively at various seniority levels
? Open-minded, flexible, and ability to adapt to new situations. Additionally, a willingness to travel when needed
? Structured, driven and detail oriented

Desired Education/Skills/Experience:
? Knowledge in battery and power management
? Knowledge in Lithium battery

? MS Office
