Job Summary
The Account Manager's primary responsibility is to sell Altair products to key accounts in airspace, aviation, electronics etc.
Job functions include
Goal: Grow business region by developing strategic accounts
? - Develop territory sales plan and strategic account plan to build up strong pipeline
? - Conduct daily sales call, customer visit, managing forecast, writing quotation, price negotiation etc.
? - Sell by value and solutions by being able to communicate HyperWorks features and benefits
? - Build long term partnership with strategic accounts
? - Work closely with channel partners to enlarge and seek potential business opportunities
? - Contribute to the Marketing Team with presentations, article contributions to newsletters, user Groups, and tradeshows
? - Work closely with the Applications Engineers for product technical knowledge
Minimum requirements
The successful candidate must:
? - At least 3 year sales experience, with handling single order
? - Proven sales experience in working with state owed customers in China like Aviation, airspace etc.
? - Proven experience and strong understanding of government planning, budgeting and purchase procedure
? - EDA or CAE background prefer
? - Have excellent communications and presentation skills
? - Positive attitude, strong learning capability, can work in team environment
? - Posses excellent organization
? - Can work independently and take heavy travel
Education/Experience
? - At least Bachelor’s degree: preferably in electronics, mechanical and fluid
- Have general understanding of CAE software applications
