Mott MacDonald (Beijing) Ltd is WFOE of Mott MacDonald based in Beijing and has a branch in Shanghai.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

Accounts function (70%)

§ Perform daily operations of accounting functions and assist in preparation of management reports

§ Prepares vouchers, accounts receivable, accounts payable, payments and receipts

§ Input receivable, payable and journal voucher

§ Handle invoice settlement and expenses reimbursement

§ Review aging report; follow up on outstanding items and enquiry from customers

§ Assist in month end closing and preparation of monthly financial reports

§ Monitor receipts and match receipts with invoices and debit notes

§ Maintain daily cash record for all the bank accounts

§ Safe keeping of petty cash

§ Handle cheque payment and liaise with bankers

§ Prepare bank reconciliation on monthly basis and ensure all reconciling items resolved expediently.

§ Supporting internal and external audit requirements, including ensuring timely resolution of audit findings and comments

§ Liaise with tax officers for the tax advices and new tax policies

§ Provide support to other financial areas upon request

§ Ad hoc work assigned from time to time

HR function (30%)

§ Help with work permit/residence permit/visa application;

§ Ad hoc work assigned

Person specification

§ Bachelor's degree or above, majored in accounting/finance;

§ Good command of English and Chinese; able to communicate and do financial forms/entries in English;

§ Accountant Certificate is required;

§ Candidate with working experience will be considered with priority;

§ Familiar with Microsoft Office (Excel in particular);

§ Determined to advance in accounting career;

§ Be a team player and proactive;

§ Willing to work in a fast paced environment;

Terms and Conditions of Employment

Working Hours

Mott MacDonald (Beijing) Limited has a five day working week, Monday to Friday inclusive. Working hours are: 9:00 to 12:00; 13:00 to 18:00

Compensation

Basic salary + Performance pay (based on company profit) + Social security + Supplemental medical

Income tax and individual contribution to social security will be deducted at source and paid by MM (Beijing) Ltd to relevant authorities.

No other allowance will be provided.

Leave

Ten working days per year of paid leave, this will be taken after the completion of the probationary period.
