Job title: Field Technical Assistant
This position is based in Gaoqiao. Work schedule is 28 days on, 28 days off. Company will provide accommodations on days on. Transportation is to be provided from home location to Nanba/Gaoqiao. Salary is paid over 12-month period. Please provide CV in English. This is a field location and requires capability to work in different temperature climates -10C to +40C. Company living quarters environment and sharing room. Will be on 24/7 callout and go out to different well pads and main facilities as needed.

Key Job Responsibilities
General Translation/Interpretation:
Provide day-to-day oral and written Field Operations Interpretation and translation for Gathering system field advisor and Field Operations Team.
Provide oral translation for meetings/training sessions with National staff, government officials, contractors, and vendors.
Translate and review Field Operations documents: well site daily, weekly reports, emails, Operations inspections/audits, reports and other documentation as needed.
Coordinate the Field Operations interpreters and other field based interpreters to perform large or fast turnaround translation works required both in and out of Plant and Field Operations Team.

Technical Translation/ Interpretation:
Maintain the Maintenance Work Requests and track all Work Permits in the Field
Maintain the wellsite daily and weekly reports.
Support the Operations Advisors with communication and documentation between Contractors providing services to Operations.
Translate all communications between the Field Operations Superintendent, Operations Field Advisors as well as Chinese national CDB employees.
Maintain and update personnel Information and rotation schedules.
Track daily contractor permits and work tickets and review submitted invoices for proper allocation to cost centers and AFEs.
Maintain other Operations documents as required.

Technical Skills:
Must have the ability to interpret technical specifications, read and understand piping and instrument drawings.
Placing orders within JDE E1, updating related records
Collect production data and field activity reports daily and assemble needed information for gas nominations approvals
Preparing work request with work scope and materials needed to accomplish requested task
Assist with JSA’s, Chesm Audits, and MSW audits.
Prepare and submit Purchase Requests for materials as required for Field Operations.
Learn Field Operations processes and assist operations personnel in tasks as directed by Field Operations Superintendent and/or Operations Advisor.

Safety Focus:
Works closely with Field Supervisors, Field Operations Advisors and HES Department to develop and implement a program that includes, safety training, behavioral based safety observation program, compliance reviews, audits, RCA’s, emergency preparedness, near-miss/incidents reporting, safety meetings, and process improvement initiatives.

Educations:
Minimum requirements:
College degree in engineering discipline preferred with strong English abilities.
College degree in English with understanding of hydrocarbon processes.
Previous Experience:
1-5 years working in an engineering career, hydrocarbon industry
