职位描述
Primary Function / Position Summary:
?Supervises/Creates visual design, including visual concept, interface, typography, logo and icon design for the Web applications. Keeps current the growing list of design tools in the Web environment. Coordinates with Information Designer, Project Manager and Writer to make sure visual design communicates and functions successfully for varying technical and performance specifications.
Major Responsibilities / Principal Accountabilities:
?Create visual design and concept for Web-based products, optimizing the use of screen design and user interface.
?Visually integrate and enhance the architecture, UI and navigation outlined by Information Designer, within specs from Team.
?Coordinate team with other groups especially with the creative management group, directing how final art is visually implemented.
?Understand basic concept of complete site and convey it to client when Information Designer is not available.
?Adhere to agreed upon delivery schedule coordinated with project managers. Make sure PM is notified of any changes in schedule.
?Make presentations to clients of creative concepts and designs.
?Communicate with Information Designer, Project Managers, Writers, Technical Team in each stage of design.
?Signoff that site has been correctly implemented to reflect final approved visual design.
?Identify and supervise visual designers and freelancers.
?Stay current on visual design techniques and maintain software tools. Use the latest techniques and technology to expand the Agency Interactive reputation as a leader in web site design and functionality.
?Coach and develop visual designers.
?Recommend measures to improve work process methods, equipment performance, and quality of product.
?Maintain and support all company standards as specified within the Quality Management System.
?Support/facilitate the mandatory adherence to ISO9001 requirements, processes and procedures.
?May include other duties as assigned.
Qualifications / Specific Skill Requirements:
?Four-year degree or training in Graphic Design or Advertising.
?Expert in design software on Photoshop, Image Ready, Illustrator skills required.
?Knowledge of Dreamweaver, Front Page Director, Javascript, Flash.
?Basic comprehension of information design.
?Expert HTML, capabilities of browsers and design constraints on the Web.
?Strong design style and creative design solutions within constrains of Web.
?Applies sound concepts of typography, computer mediums.
?Basic knowledge in design tools (video, digital/cel animation, VRML, etc.)
?Must be able to inform and drive synergy across communication platforms, be able to successfully translate ideas into other media (web, direct mail, showroom, print, TV and promotions).
?Have physical and mental requirements to meet the above listed job responsibilities.
