We are currently seeking for Marketing Representatives to join our 2017 Marketing Development Program scheduled to commence in Sept 2017. Suitable candidates will be shortlisted and contacted for interview.

Marketing Representative – Product Support Operations Rep Career Path

This position allows the incumbent to complete the 3-month Marketing Training Class and developmental rotational assignments in Singapore and other countries followed by a Deep Dive assignment in China, Beijing. The incumbents will receive guidance and direction from the Supervisor, on-site supervisors and other staff personnel in completing assigned projects. Rotational assignments will be focused on service operational excellence, parts operations and services processes as well as a strong understanding of the Caterpillar Dealer network. The incumbents will be expected to contribute to the division's objectives with emphasis on developing skills and experience in objective setting, project planning, deadline responsibility as well as implementation and follow-up methods.

Job Duties/Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
The incumbents will learn the following skills while working in the assigned rotational divisions
Process Development and Implementation (Dealer Operations Path) – The incumbent will assist/lead projects related to dealer operational excellence, working closely with Caterpillar Distribution Service Divisions. During rotation, the incumbent learns Caterpillar – Dealer relationship, understand services processes, workshop layout, contamination control and work closely with Sales, Service, Parts and rental operations, district offices and dealers.
After successful completion of the development program (approximately 18- 24 months), the incumbent will be placed as Product Support Operations Rep role in District and will be responsible for driving dealer capacity and capability in the area of Service, Work shop, contamination control, service operation excellence with the China dealers. In this role, the incumbent will be working with the dealer senior management team, industry team, product support team, in driving Service operation excellence. The incumbent would also be providing consultancy role to Caterpillar dealers on product support development and service operations.

Required Qualifications:
* Engineering Degree preferably in Mechanical, Production, Automobile Engineering, Electrical
* The incumbent should have 2 to 4 years previous working experience preferably in marketing development, product support, and technical service. Experience in construction and infrastructure, mining, oil and gas related fields/ Handling Engines/machines will be an added advantage.
* Should be willing to travel extensively, at least 50 - 70% or more of the time
* Should be willing to Relocate based upon business needs.
* Should have good academic score

* Strong communication, leadership and influencing skills and ability to operate independently
