A50-Warranty Team Leader
Responsibilities:
1) Manage and steer all related activities within the Warranty Support team, including the timely processing of warranty reimbursements, Porsche Centre network inquiries, material development and related subsequent training. Responsible for all strategic and operational key warranty decisions for the greater China market.
2) Create a set of relevant performance indicators relating to the warranty group, establishing new targets derived from these KPIs. Lead the warranty group to successfully meet or exceed the created targets.
3) Manage the pilot phase, rollout and implementation of a new global warranty system (WWS New SP5) and all related tasks associated within the market. Coordinate and integrate necessary market specific requirements for all warranty related IT systems on a local and global scale.
4) Identify potential warranty irregularities and trends within the Porsche Centre network and conduct Porsche Service Analysis accordingly, in cooperation with Porsche AG. Negotiate repayment from Porsche Centres directly with Porsche Centre management to ensure appropriate business expectations are consistently defined.
5) Coordinate payments and provide market specific requirements and support for the Porsche Approved Warranty programme.
6) Establish and develop clear processes and guidelines for handling warranty reimbursements, warranty audits, goodwill payments and parts scrapping solutions.
7) Produce comprehensive monthly reports regarding Porsche China warranty claim handling and warranty expenditures, goodwill expenditures and other related KPI for distribution to management.
8) Work in coordination with Porsche AG to further develop the Customer Mobility programme and applicable market specific reimbursements.
9) Establish clear communication channels with the Front Desk and Technical teams in order to track quality issues and trends within the warranty system.
10) Create a comprehensive training guide for all warranty related personnel at Porsche China and Porsche Centre level, published and updated regularly via the Porsche Partner Network. Establish an effective means for distributing training materials (i.e. online training) and conduct training to dealer network, in cooperation with the Porsche Academy.
11) Participate in related Porsche China and dealer network forums and conferences to update the Porsche Centre network of changes to warranty systems and/or warranty policies and procedures.
12) Interface with VAQ4 department on a regular basis regarding market specific warranty developments and growth. Provide input on behalf of Porsche China in terms of new warranty-related programmes and projects.
13) Support other departments within the organisation with related topics and requests as needed.
Requirements:
1) Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Business Administration or equivalent industry experience
2) 5 years of Warranty and/or equivalent experience required, preferably within the luxury automotive segment
3) Strong managerial and leadership abilities with high levels of professionalism, organisation and self motivation
4) Excellent analytical, conceptual and creative problem solving skills, communication skills and attention to detail
5) Proactive, team oriented and positive working attitude
6) Porsche systems background is a plus
7) Fluency in English language required. Additionally, Mandarin and German are preferred
8) Proficient knowledge of MS Office
