Major Responsibilities and Objectives
? To assist in developing a cost and procurement management system for the Company’s PRC operating centres and subsequent implementation and monitoring to improve the overall performance of the procurement management of the Company.
? To assist in setting up and subsequent implementation of a central procurement system
including term contract system and bulk purchase system for the Company.
Major Tasks and Activities
? To develop, modify and maintain the cost database of the technical expenses of all PRC operating centres
? To prepare tender documents and process the tendering for the centrally procured items
? To collect cost information of supplies, maintenance works and alteration works from various sources for benchmarking
among all PRC operating centres and within the industry
? To provide and advise the market prices for TSSD’s and centre’s reference
? To review the contractors’ performance in tender submission in each of the Company’s operating centres
? To maintain the approved contractors list
? To monitor the tendering process of the operating centres and provide advice on tender negotiation
? To prepare various costing reports for top management’s reference
Skills, Qualifications and Experience Requirements
? A college degree in Quantity Surveying, Cost Engineering, or equivalent
? Minimum 8 years of experience in quantity surveying and cost control in construction or property management field
? A member of HKIS, RICS or CECA is a preference
