1. Purpose of the Job
To directly manage the operation of supplying spare parts and product inventories to Service Operations and customers, with efficient, timely, and cost effective supply routes and within the corporate quality policies.
To plan and control inventory levels in line with budget to meet the objectives of the Service Business and offer a high level of service and availability to internal and external customers.
To identify opportunities and set goals to improve the profitability of spares offerings in line with company policy.
To identify, source and control the procurement process delivering inventory in the most cost efficient manner in line with company purchasing policy.
To manage and direct inventory checks and stock counts in line with local and company financial regulations and practices.
2. Principal Accountabilities:
Provide adequate Service equipment to China with company objectives, “Monitor the Service Equipment process and control the Service inventory in China as like Hub, DC, Satellite and OnSite” in particular:
? Review the Backup pumps safety stock fil-rate on Hub/Satellite/OnSite and interface with CVC/Hub to make plan.
? Lead the resizing process with Hub/FS regularly to minimize the stock level.
? Define the surplus service equipment stock and share the information with related people to reduce the overstock in China.
? Lead the PI counting with Logistics/Hub/FS regularly to improve the stock accuracy.
? Support the Certified sales demand from the stock in China or other regions.
? Work with Service team in other regions to redeploy the surplus equipment from China.
? Understand the company standard operating process for Service Equipment and follow the correct actions as shelf life, product protection and product condition are met to achieve high standards of quality.
? Assesses needs, arranges for or provides required training in job skills, safe work practices, and quality
? Product training – Wang, YingPei, China training manager
? SAP training - TBC.
? Overall operation process training – Jenny Liu, Service Material manager, China
? SOP training - Jenny Liu, Service Material manager, China
3. Knowledge, Skills, Experience Required:
? A degree or equivalent in a science or engineering discipline
? 3 – 5 years of managerial experience
? A strong background within a spares support or technical stores environment
? An appreciation of vacuum technology & semi-conductor practices
? An appreciation of general administrative work.
? Interpersonal skills for relating to both internal and external customers and providers of information of all nationalities, generating customer satisfaction and achieving personal credibility so as to motivate both the users and providers of product information
? Good written and verbal communication skills in both Chinese & English combined with computer literacy
? Ability to work in a team
? Strong administrative and personal disciplines to handle a multi-task and functions activity with a meticulous approach
? Self starter, self motivator and resourceful, able to take the initiative to resolve spares issues
