职位描述

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  1. Business Development:
1.1. To achieve the sales budget and targets given by the Sales Manager;
1.2. To make telephone calls as initial approach of potential clients to identify new opportunities;
1.3. To arrange sales visits efficiently with existing and potential clients according to the territory;
1.4. To build up business relationship with existing and potential clients;
1.5. To collect market and customer information and share the feedback with the sales, branch and national management;
1.6. To monitor business volumes for existing clients and to take action in case of any loss or reduced volumes;
1.7. To prepare sales & marketing material, presentations for the specific approach to existing or potential clients
1.8. To support and assist in marketing events for existing and potential clients
1.9. To assist the Route Development Manager for internal and external visitor arrangements
1.10. To follow directions given by the sales management and to strive for highest professionalism and efficiency;
1.11. To take ownership with appropriate actions to fulfill customer satisfactory in order of continual business development;
1.12. To represent and follow the ** philosophy, quality management system and highest standard of business practice;

  1. Targeting:
2.1. To identify new potential clients (target clients) according to the sales budget within the sales territory and specified products
2.2. To identify new opportunities from existing clients within the sales territory;
2.3. Re-approach ‘lost’ / ‘sleeping’ accounts in order to dig out new potential opportunities within the sales territory;
2.4. To identify new potential clients based on specific campaigns given by the sales management with the sales territory;
  1. Pricing:
3.1. To inquire rates through ** Rates, **et, MSR, and/or operational counterparts (local/overseas) to prepare quotations for clients;
3.2. To negotiate rates internally with operational counterparts in order to achieve competitive rates and solutions for clients;
3.3. To quote, follow up the quotations and take necessary actions in order to close the business;
3.4. To identify and co-ordinate local controlled RFQ’s;
  1. Customer Relationship Management (VLog data input):
4.1. To maintain high quality of VLog data input and update for: organizations / contacts / opportunities / quotations according to the Vlog data input manual;
4.2. To ensure a large and active pipeline opportunity database (min. 250 pipeline opportunities);
4.3. Input and send Sales Lead;
4.4. Follow up received Sales Lead and check for the next stage of approach to the clients;

  1. ** Login:
5.1. To be fully aware of the functions of ** Login;
5.2. To promote ** Login to potential and existing clients;
5.3. To provide all necessary information to the inside sales in order to apply ** Login CP;
5.4. To bring data quality issues to responsible operational counterparts for corrective actions;
5.5. To train and assist external customer in using ** Login;
5.6. To identify opportunities of freight or order management and inform the Customer Solutions Manager

  1. Payment:
6.1. To provide all necessary information to the inside sales in order to apply for credit limit and renewal;
6.2. To be responsible for overdue outstanding and assist CA to clear overdue outstanding;

  1. Performance Review:
7.1. To monitor secured and maintained business volumes for all business secured and maintained by the sales;
7.2. To ensure the correct data to be used for the performance review
7.3. To inform the sales manager immediately, if there are any data discrepancies
OTHER REQUIREMENTS, RESPONSIBILITIES AND EXPECTATIONS
  • Strong communication skills;
  • Strong command in English and Mandarin;
  • Preferably University degree;
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in sales / operational departments within the freight forwarding industry;
  • Mature, presentable and independent with good interpersonal skills;
  • Pro-active and fast acting, high grade of common sense, supportive and forward thinking;
  • Strong sense of responsibility, self-motivated with positive working attitude, attentive to details;
  • Good skills in MSOffice, PowerPoint;
