General Responsibilities:
Overall P&L responsibility for China domestic trucking (core business focus) and domestic express, air, rail and barge
Development of short and mid-term transportation strategy for **** in China
Transportation development – develop and manage pool of qualified transport vendors & team to support it – to ensure lowest possible operation cost for ***** at agreed operational and risk levels.
Client operational ownership – establish & deliver appropriate transport service levels for all ***** Logistics clients in China, incl. for clients commercially owned by regional managers (warehouse & distribution contract clients)
Client commercial ownership – establish and deliver appropriate customer service, IT and commercial structure to fully maintain pure transportation clients (no warehouse components) within domestic transportation team
New client business development – develop new transport business through own efforts as well as in collaboration with ***** Logistics BD team, ***** Air & Sea Commercial team and ***** overseas network.
Build-up of asset-light transportation network, evaluate and recommend potential partners and M & A targets
Organizational and people development
Implement company-wide operating standards, processes, KPIs

- Qualifications Requirements

Knowledge & Skills Full range of trucking &contract logistics business and industry knowledge.
Education & Training Bachelor degree in Business/ Science or equivalent;
Experience 10-15 years experience within trucking & 3PL company. At least 5 years in hands-

on transport management position. 5 years of BD/Commercial experience focused on

domestic trucking
Personal Characteristics Entrepreneurial, self starter, can work independently and proactively towards
