职位描述

Job Responsibilities:
(Summarise typical duties and responsibilities of the job. Duties should be listed in a logical sequence of importance)

The position is accountable for achieving annual Contribution target (existing and new businesses combined) mutually agreed for each budget year.

(A) Business development (10%)
1. Assist in researching market and new opportunities
2. Coordinate with Business Development Manager on pipeline development
3. Prospect targets, engage for new solution
4. Identify customer needs, collect data
5. Develop solution and pricing
6. Present and sell solution
7. Negotiate and close deals
8. Establish working rapport and trust with new customers
9. Plan, coordinate and supervise implementation
10. Evaluate success and failures to improve business development practices

(B) Account management (50%)
1. Strengthen relationships with customers in 2-up, 2-down approach
2. Anticipate proactively customer needs and changes and offer corresponding new solutions
3. Improve scope, scale and profitability of service to customers
4. Address to significant customer concerns, complaints and relationship issues
5. Prepare budget and forecast for responsible accounts
6. Monitor and improve contribution and contribution/GP% on monthly basis
7. Conduct service review with customers
8. Conduct contract negotiation and renewal with customers

(C) Revenue & Risk management (10%)
1. Negotiate and agree on contracts or contract renewal with customers
2. Evaluate pricing/costing protocol and liabilities with customers/suppliers to maximize profits
3. Develop and agree with customers the contractual terms to mitigate risks and liabilities
4. Draft commercial contracts with customers for management approval

(D) Solution & Project development (10%)
1. Build continuously knowledge capital (products and practices) to develop industry leading solutions and practices
2. Provide user input to continuous system development and productivity improvement
3. Facilitate knowledge sharing within the team and among other HFS team members
4. Participate in special projects assigned from time to time

(E) Team management (20%)
1. Lead and supervise a account team to achieve the team goals and professional standards
2. Develop and coach team talents
3. Deploy resources to prioritized activities on daily basis

Job Specification and Competency:

Professional (Technical Competency)
- A subject matter expert on international logistics and SCM solutions, especially related to Greater China origins
- Good process development and system knowhow.
- Good connection with the industry: customers, carriers, 3PLs, forwarders, customs and brokers, customers
- Consulting skills an advantage

Personal Competency
- Self Attitudes: Self-motivated, confident, assertive, results oriented, persistent, high-energy, independent, trustworthy.
- Service attitudes: Customer focused, good listener, action oriented,
- Problem solving skills: Strong logical and analytical mind and problem solving abilities, able to attend to details reliably and set right priorities
- People skills: warm and personable, lead by example
- Communication skills: Competent communicators at senior and operations management levels, clear articulation of messages, persuasive, professional written and oral English, proficiency in Putonghua or Japanese preferred
- Previous life exposure to international culture an advantage
- Willing to travel and meet customers in flexible schedule

Educational Requirements
A degree holder, and preferably with post-graduate training in Logistics/Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, operations management or related disciplines

Work Experience Requirements
- 3-5 years working experience as account manager for international logistics accounts
- Proven track record in business and solution development management
- Experience in apparel and footwear industry an advantage
