职位描述
Purpose of the position
Responsible for efficient warehouse execution and coordination of the Distribution Center (DC) inbound supply and outbound delivery, from loading/unloading, inspection, packing, inventory management activities etc.
Position involves daily contact with ********* subcontractors, ********* colleagues/partners, external 3PL’s, etc. for successful execution and completion to ensure operational excellence according to targets (KPI’s).
Key Tasks
Warehouse operation activity– DC operation:
1. Responsible for controlling whole warehouse operation activities to achieve daily tasks including general operations, safety, cleanness, inventory management, packing work and etc.
2. Ensure operation team behavior in a timely and efficient manner to meet services commitment to customers.
3. Ensure all activities follow SOP, to guarantee all process risk-free and cost effective.
4. Manage, coach and inspire the warehouse operation team (outsourced labors) and make sure the team gains sufficient knowledge of individual function.
5. Monitor TPM process and make instruction to operation team.
6. Responsible for updating the training materials to the warehouse operation team and conduct the training to the team on regular basis, for example, safety use and maintenance of MHE as well as the warehouse operation process.
7. Continuously improve operation efficiency and optimize the operation process to meet the given KPIs.
8. Monitor the performance of the team as well as the service level by random check, daily check and etc.
9. Executive and implement advance managerial methodology from up management.
10. Daily report updating and documents filing.
System update – status, inventory and deviation:
1. Ensure timely and accurate status and inventory update of customer’s SAP system according to given KPIs.
2. Ensure timely and accurate root cause and corrective action updates for any irregularities/deviation occurred.
3. Ensure timely and accurate information update to relevant parties in regards to delay, corrective actions and eventual re-planning.
4. Ensure proper recording for billing purpose.
5. Ensure preparation of required reports and statistical data according to internal/external requirements and agreements.
Continuous improvement process:
1. Pro-actively contribute to overall process and compliance improvement.
2. Execution of warehouse operation excellence program.
Decision Making Authority
Enforce operational corrective measures to ensure operational excellence, undisrupted operations/business and sustainable growth in agreement with the line manager.
Function / Market & Industry Knowledge / Business Acumen / Process working
1. Logistics experience mainly on warehouse management.
2. In-depth knowledge of warehouse operations process and optimization.
3. In-depth knowledge of forklift truck driving and maintenance.
4. Strong leadership and logical thinking.
5. Experience from telecom industry is advantage.
6. Experience with bonded warehouse operation is advantage.
Skills & Competencies
1. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
2. Excellent leadership and coordination skills.
3. Excellent sense of customer and solution focus.
4. High sense of responsibility.
5. Ability to continuously learn/re-learn.
Educational background / Work experience
1. College degree in logistics, SCM, freight forwarding or equivalent.
2. Minimum 8 years working experience with warehouse management, at least 3 years at supervisor level.
3. Higher focus on attitude, personality, English language skills and skills & competences listed above.
Language skills
1. Excellent Chinese Mandarin (verbal, read & write)
2. Excellent English (read & write)
3. Good English (verbal)
Computer Literacy
§ Familiar with MS Office and computer literacy (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
§ SAP/ERP experience is essential but not a must.
