Being part of the Server Technologies team at Oracle,ODIEE delivers an easy to use graphical user interface for many core databasefeatures. Within the ODIEE team you will be working with such features asPartitioning, Parallel Load capabilities, Real Application Clusters, AnalyticSQL, OLAP and Business Intelligence. The tool is an ideal window into manyOracle technologies, not just for our customers, but also for our developers.

To deliver our tool, we build ODI using Java and all thelatest technologies surrounding Java. We also use SQL, PL/SQL, UML (UnifiedModeling Language) object modeling, HTML, and XML technologies within thedevelopment environment. There is a wealth of skills to learn and use,both in building the product and in the before mentioned Oracle technologies.

We primarilydevelop ODI at Oracle’s Head Quarter campus in Redwood Shores, California,U.S.A., other locations in the U.S., the U.K., France, India, and, at OracleAsia Research and Development Center in Beijing, Shanghai and Shenzhen, China

Brief Posting DescriptionDesign, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.Detailed DescriptionAs a member of the software engineering division, you will assist in defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, debugging or designing of software applications or operating systems. Provide technical leadership to other software developers. Specify, design and implement modest changes to existing software architecture to meet changing needs.Job RequirementsDuties and tasks are varied and complex needing independent judgment. Fully competent in own area of expertise. May have project lead role and or supervise lower level personnel. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 4 years of software engineering or related experience.Additional Details
As a senior member of technical staff, you’llbe responsible for all phases of software development on Oracle Data IntegratorEnterprise Edition.

Qualifications:
·MS in Computer Science, or related fields with heavy focus on Computer Science.
·Strong hands-on skills with Java, Object-oriented design and programming
·Strong knowledge of data warehousing, relational database concepts and in depth knowledge of one popular Database
·Strong software engineering, debugging and analytical skills, excellent interpersonal and communication skills
·Experience working on a commercial software development project
·Good working knowledge of Linux
·Having project lead role is a big plus
Good verbal andwritten communication skills in English
