Objective / Purpose of the Department

**** supplies and combines freight services, information management and added value into integrated solutions. As part of the **** Group, **** supports ****’ capacity to offer customers one partner to solve their supply chain challenges worldwide. It has revenues of 1.6 billion euros and more than 4500 employees working in 34 countries around the world.

The IT department of **** is responsible for the design, realization and daily maintenance and support of system solutions and the hardware & network (WAN) infrastructure of ****, including network connectivity (intranet, internet and extranet) Operating system, storage, back-up and restore, disaster recovery and technical application and DBA management. The IT systems are concentrated around, e-services, transport management and ERP solutions. The systems are implemented in **** countries around the globe.

The IT Department is responsible for the following elements for those systems when rolling these out in the countries:

- Business Case Preparation

- Capex

- Project Management and Delivery

- Integration

The department is responsible for the following elements for those systems when in Production:

- 2^nd Line Support: Technical Application Management

- Development

- Security (including requirements from CAS and Sarbanes Oxley)

- Incident Management and Escalation Management

- Change Management

- Release Management

- Housing

- Hosting

- Storage and Back Up

- Business Continuity Services

- Service Level Agreements

- Budget

- Communication

- Hardware

- Software

These elements are supported 24 hours a day 7 days a week.

To support various logistics projects which require Warehouse Management System (WMS).

· To ensure operation efficiency

· To improve operate accuracy

· To meet various customer specific requirement

· Continues system development and improvement.
