The role:

• Researches and analyzes data such as client design proposals, specifications, and manuals to determine feasibility of design or application
• Works with clients to develop project scope of work
• Is responsible for developing electrical drawings for power supply & distribution, grounding & lightning protection, lighting, etc. for a completely building electrical system
• Provides fault current analysis and relay protection study for electrical system
• Develops equipment lists, material requisitions, specifications and other documents related to electrical equipment
• Uses computer assisted engineering and design software to perform engineering and design calculations and other engineering tasks
• Supervises local design institute for electrical engineering and design based on project requirement
• Provides service during construction and makes field trips as required
• Has the ability to direct and coordinate fabrication, construction, installation, and operational testing to ensure electrical systems conform to engineering design, client specifications, and applicable codes, regulations, and laws
• Bachelor's Degree
• Twelve (12) years of electrical engineering experience, with background for data center or pharmaceutical field, working experience in design institute preferred
• In-depth knowledge of the Chinese codes and other electrical standards, familiar with international codes, such as NEC, IEEE, IEC, etc.
• Experience in reviewing and approving project drawings (electrical portion)
• Functional experience with Microsoft Office applications
• Proficient in AutoCAD and development of detail design drawings
• Experience coordinating electrical engineering and design activities with other project disciplines
• Fluent English: read, write and speak
• Be able to travel
