POSITION SUMMARY
This is a position overseeing the full spectrum of operational activities of Theatrical business in China, which includes sales forecasting, material planning, production scheduling, sales tracking, monitoring vendors and coordinating marketing & distribution activities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
? Managing Theatrical Release promotional and operations tasks.

RESPONSIBILITIES/ DUTIES
? Work with local distributors and exhibitors to encourage them to invest more promotion budget and to arrange better screen schedule for approved client films.
? Assist in theatre team lead with drafting marketing budget plan prior to approval by home office and regional office and to help fulfil the plan.
? Assist in theatre team lead to work together with marketing team and build awareness of upcoming films through advertisement, premiere, talent tour, publicity exhibition and other marketing supports.
? Assist in theatre team lead to meet with local distributors to brief and discuss market plan of the approved film and to ensure to the plan is fulfilled appropriately.
? Co-work with ground promotion vendor on screenings communication with exhibitors once a film approved for China TH release.
? Order KDMs for digital releases.
? Work with local distributor/exhibitor and promotion partners to prepare premieres
? In-theatre promotion materials.
? Liaise with local distributors and exhibitors to understand their needs.
? Support in-theater team lead to search for qualified vendors, which could offer best quality at a reasonable price, produce, and deliver ad/pub materials on time.
? Work with local distributors to monitor vendor to distribute in-theater promotion materials to the correct cinemas. Ad/pub materials (posters/tapes/DVDs) inventory
? DCP master and pre-screening arrangement in other cities if necessary.

Others
? Support in-theater team lead on Art House and film festival related work and communication
? Support in theatre team lead to build relationships with exhibition partners to gain understanding of their business and to leverage box office potential.
? Attend trade shows and relevant industry events/ meetings where required to understand industry trends.

KEY SKILLS REQUIRED
? Proficient with numbers and managing details.
? Experience with forecasting and material planning preferable.
? Project management skills preferable.
? Equipped with good marketing sense and knowledge of media industry.
? Team player
? Good command of the English language

EDUCATION (OR EQUIVALENT) AND WORK EXPERIENCE
? Tertiary education background
? 3-5 years working experience with at least 3 years’ experience in a similar capacity is preferred
? Work experience in the film industry preferable.
