Job Summary / Job Purpose
HQ compliance function – please refer to the main responsibilities below
Main Responsibilities /Accountabilities / Tasks
1. Regulatory Circulars’ Interpretation, Summary & Distribution;
2. Gap analysis to new regulations and be responsible for the implementation of regulatory requirements in the bank;
3. Regulation update for internal reports, like BOD, ALCO and regional legislation updates.
4. Conducting annual review on internal policies and procedures;
5. Conducting KYC review of SG China Beijing branch
6. Compliance training program coordination at bank level and provide specific training on new regulations ;
7. Prepare and distribute the monthly Compliance Alert;
8. Backup of regulatory survey & reporting processing and PB business advisory;
9. Other tasks / assignment from the supervisor(s).
Candidate Profile
Academic Background: Bachelor degree in Business, Finance or Law.
Working Experience /Technical Skills & Know how: Minimum 4 – 5 years work experiences in foreign bank, incl 2-3 years in compliance or operations area.
Skills & Competencies:
1. Familiar with local CBRC/SAFE/ PBOC rules & regulations and relevant compliance policies;
2. Sound knowledge of banking products / services;
3. Project management skills;
4. Independent, self-motivated and detail-focused;
5. Able to work under pressure;
Language Skills: Good command of verbal and written English and excellent communication skills;
Computer Skill: Literate in MS applications, WORD, EXCEL, Powerpoint, etc
