- Working as part of the Low Voltage Drives R&D department, software development
- Part of the Drives Digital organization in China and globally
- Developing embedded firmware for Drives connectivity devices utilizing the ABB Ability platform
- Supporting technical requirement specification and concept proofing of new technologies
- Analyzing customer needs and transferring into technical solutions
- Be part of international development projects, follow ABB gate model
- Leverage best-practice software engineering processes, utilizing appropriate tools


</p><br><p>Requirements (must have):
- Bachelor or Master degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Automation preferred
- Strong software development background, familiar with all aspects of the software development life cycle
- Experience with embedded system development, preferred ARM using C/C++; alternatively DSP
- Good experience on embedded system driver development such as UART, SPI, I2C…
- Experience in developing within embedded operating system environment; RTOS such as uCOS or RT-Linux is preferred
- Experience with modern SW development tools, such as Keil, IAR, visual studio
- Experience in working with version control tools, for example Git
- Knowledge about Microsoft Office
- Experience of working with IoT and related protocol stacks
- Good English communication skills (in word and writing) and positive attitude
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally, a few weeks per year

Requirements (good to have):
- Working experience >8 years
- Experience of working in a scrum environment / development team
- Knowledge of OPC UA, MQTT, NB-IoT, ModBus or similar
- Experience with scripting language such as Python
- Understanding of SW testing and test automation
- International experience (work or study)
