Skills/Experience

Good team player with a 'can do' attitude
Good Analytical and problem solving skills
Software scripting skills (Perl preferred)
Experience/background in wireless communications, digital communications, RF engineering
Experience in WWANs like TDS-CDMA, CDMA2000 (1x, EV-DO), UMTS (GSM, WCDMA) call processing & physical layer required
Understanding/experience in Locatin technology protocols preferred

Responsibilities

Test development, execution, analysis, troubleshooting and problem resolution of location technology (Standalone, AGNSS/SUPL) related problems from lab and field Test Scenarios
Regular evaluation of GNSS performance and detailed analysis of key metrics
Assist in validation of new features or algorithm improvements in local market
Regression / Sanity test for Pre /Pos-Commercial releases
Frequent oral or written presentations of compiled data sets for team review
Bring up of lab and field setups
Responsible for field test logistics
You may need to work in a field test van for specific test collects, customer demos, debugs etc. You will be required to travel
For lead position (>5 years of experience)
As the lead of China Location Technology team, responsible for planning and executing lab and field testing for location technology in China market in close coordination with the Loc Tech team in US. Responsibilities include interacting with local carriers and qualcomm teams to ensure requirements of commercialization of location technology chipsets in China is met.

Education Requirements Required: Bachelor's, Computer Engineering and/or Computer Science and/or Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
Preferred: Master's, Computer Engineering and/or Computer Science and/or Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
