Job Summary (Main responsibilities):
This position will provide support for the Cardiology products to the sales teams in China and ASPAC The role will proposes, implements, and monitors brand/product marketing plans to achieve sales and profit objectives for Cardiology products .
The role will work closely with regional product managers, sales, service and R&D team. He/she will make customer presentations, collect customer requirements, design solutions that is most suitable and cost effective, and prepare tender responses.
In summary, this position is a key player who will help build our Cardiology line into a successful, market leading business. The position acts as a point of knowledge for escalation of any product related questions that surface during the sales phase of projects or tender responses.
Key Responsibilities:
? Controls expenditure within budget for Cardiology product development and promotions.
? Prepares product marketing plans and discontinuation plans to ensure that the product range is in tune with market opportunities.
? Prepares sales and profit estimates and project manage production and distribution for promotions, etc.
? Liaises with internal departments and external agencies to ensure full communication and success of marketing plans.
? Contributes to creativity of product packaging, presentation and promotional activities.
? Constantly monitors performance of managed products to ensure it meets organization objectives.
? Ensures effective administration of brands/products through marketing proposals, product briefs, brand plans, etc.
? Identifies new business opportunities for new products, re-launches, packaging changes, range extensions, and proposes initial plans to exploit these opportunities.
? Deliver field-based sales consulting to the Agfa HE organization, customers and prospects
? Prepare and provide customer demonstration presentations, video clips etc. for hospital tender, trade shows, etc.
? Co-ordinate & drive tenders & sales programs in line with regional Marketing strategy
? Be knowledgeable and up-to-date on latest Agfa HE and competitors products & solutions in the areas of Cardiology IT products
? Provide implementation support through facilitated trainings of internal staff and customers in the use and configuration of IT Solutions, ensuring information dissemination and achievement of "best practices"
? Design solutions to maximizing revenue opportunities and margin
Required competencies & skills:
? Strong interpersonal skills and teamwork abilities
? Superior technical skills in healthcare applications
? Knowledge of marketing, sales and services processes
? Excellent communication, presentation and coordination skills
? Ability to travel for extended periods nationally and abroad
Required qualifications & years/type of experience
? Formal qualifications in science, medicine or similar discipline
? Minimal 3 years experience in delivering application & services in the healthcare space or direct clinical experience especially cardiology environment.
? Understanding & knowledge of healthcare market in China and/or ASEAN and other countries in ASPAC.
