Mission :
The Business Development Manager – Simulation is responsible for establishing and developing simulation product VAR (resellers) sales team in the assigned territory.
Role Description :
It is a sales role. The Business Development Manager – Simulation in coordination with DS PC resellers (VAR’s) holds primary responsibility for achieving Simulation product sales quota in the assigned territory. Reporting to Channel Sales Director, it is the Business Development Manager’s responsibility to insure that customers/prospects receive the benefits of their CAE needs.
Initiate marketing and sales activities
- Provide territory management data: forecasts, , and activity reports to management
- Introduce and integrate technical resources, VAR personnel and Solution Partners to the customer to demonstrate capability, educate customer personnel and facilitate project management.
- Communicate effectively with VAR’s in implementing sales strategies appropriately integrating VAR resources in the sales process and implementation plan.
- Develop, deliver and lead implementation of professional technology proposals.
- Analyze potential problems and address customer issues.
- Develop VAR sales team to build strong pipeline for sustainable growth targets.
Candidate's profile
Education Level : Bachelor's Degree
Years of Work Experience : 8 to 10 years
Background :
Degree Holders Only - BS Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering a plus.
Competencies :
- Consistent track record of successful sales shown by over goal performance with 5+ years’ sales experience selling solution, 3 to 5 years’ CAE industry experience is a plus.
- Rich experience in direct sales and channel management
- Strong communication skill is required
- The candidate will also possess the ability to function in a team atmosphere, appreciate aggressive goals, and have superior organizational/time management skills and a make-it-happen attitude. Good at coaching and motivation.
Motivation/Interests :
- Highly self-motivated and willing to learn.
- Can-do attitude and able to face and solve complicated day to day operation issues.
