JOB SUMMARY/JOB PURPOSE
To handle client on boarding activities for KYC and CASA account opening according to SG China’s internal policy and procedure, such as communicate with client for KYC and account opening documents requirements and gathering documents, on site visit client for documents collection, monitor on boarding process and follow up with OPER/KYC and PCM/ACCT to complete the on boarding.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES /ACCOUNTABILITIES / TASKS
Main Business Activities
1. To contact client for KYC and account document requirements as per SG China on boarding policy;
2. Coordinate with KYC and Account Management team to reply client enquires on documentation requirements;
3. On site visit clients for documents collection and participate client account opening meeting in bank;
4. Distribute documents to KYC and Account Management team upon receiving from clients;
5. Communicate with client for KYC and/or account documentation issues, such as lack of or unqualified documents and follow up;
6. Communicate exceptional cases to RM for their seeking proper internal approval such as documents waiver/dispensation;
7. Monitor KYC and account opening process and escalate pending cases if required.
Risk Management
1. Ensure the KYC and account opening checklists send to client are most updated ones;
2. Detect potential risks and through communication with clients;
3. Monitor client on boarding progress and escalation for exceptional and pending cases if required.
Team Work
1. Proactively support cash sales activities and contribute to team performance;
2. Cross support/back up other MO functions.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
Academic Background (degree and major):University graduate in the discipline of economics, international trade, finance or business administration.
Working Experience / Technical Skills & Know how:2 years banking experience, corporate banking and client on boarding related experience preferred.
Skills & Competencies:
1. Basic corporate banking and product knowledge
2. Strong interpersonal and communication skills
3. Be responsible and detail driven
4. Willing to work under pressure
Language Skills:Be fluent in oral and written Chinese/English.
Computer Skill:Well versed in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint is a must).
