At a Glance:
Based on the manually extracted information, the main task is to gather process and analyze market price information (obtained from the web-sites of both B2B and B2C competitors; as per prices and availability of “room-nights”) for a relevant understanding of our competitive position against competitors in order to provide actionable information. Is the key provider of competitive intelligence information (based on a determined calendar) to the main stakeholders within the company such as Product, Sales, Revenue Management, Regional Managers and the Supplier Integrations team.
Main Responsibilities:
? Pick up the data required from Hotelbeds and competitors’ booking channels according to the established calendar.
? Compare the data from Hotelbeds and competitors websites to detect issues and analyze the company competitive positioning for required destinations, source markets and RTM.
? Gain basic knowledge and understanding of Hotelbeds destinations and main competitive players to improve on the quality of the job delivered.
? Perform other temporary tasks assigned.
Candidate Profile:
? Basic regional competitors knowledge in the B2B & B2C landscape – intermediate
? Understanding of Hotelbeds business – basic/intermediate
? Knowledge of Hotelbeds booking channels - advanced
? Market knowledge – basic
? Atlas – basic
? Accelerate - basic
? Excel – advanced
? Word & Power Point – basic
