Powertrain Attributes Leader
The PWT Attribute Leader is responsible, within vehicle projects, for negociating installed PWT attribute performance targets and achieving installed PWT attribute performance commitment.
The PWT Attribute Leader manages PWT attribute progresses (NVH, fuel economy, drivability, dynamic response, cold start behavior) with engine and gearbox calibration leaders. He/She is in charge of pushing the PWT calibration team to respect quality, cost and planning.
Therefore, on each vehicle platform or project, the PWT Attribute Leader is active during design, integration and validation phases.
The service will be realized in PSA DRDS offices (Shanghai) with monthly trips to DPCA (Wuhan).
SERVICE REQUIRED DELIVRABLE
He/She replies to the vehicle project on any installed PWT attribute question, and presents the installed PWT attributes monitoring to the vehicle team.
He/She negociates objectives in terms of drivability/sportivity/cold start with commercial brands and formalizes attributes requirements towards the PWT.
From attributes requirements contract he/she will writes the installation/adaptation contract between the PWT team and the vehicle team.
He/She manages and negociates the calibration delivery time-schedule to fulfill vehicle validation plan (EE validation/cold crank validation/ESP teams/OBD fleet and so on).
He/She negociates with the vehicle project the ressources given for the calibration (human resources + prototype vehicles/VRS/PRSEL cars).
He/She informs the vehicle project of NVH assesment, gives cars to NVH team for analysis. These assesments will particioate to establish the diagnosis referential for NVH trouble shooting in aftersales.
He/She organises drivability evaluation quotations and participates to SCL/DQUA evaluations in China.
Weekly business trips to have meetings with the vehicle team are possible in some period.
REQUIREMENT:
Master degree on automotive or mechanic engineering
3-5 years’ experience in powertrain activities
English speaking and writing
Driving license since several year and daily practice absolutely needed.
Strong knowledge of PWT attributes, technics Responsibility, team spirit, customer orientation,
are required
Very good communication skills are mandatory;
International working background is appreciated;
