FORWARDING PRICING & PRODUCT MANAGER GREATER CHINA
国际货运代理大中华区运价与产品经理

 Reporting Line: Managing Director Greater China
Working Location: Hong Kong or Shanghai

Objectives:
? Optimize current sea freight products and build up new ones in order to improve the Company’s competitive edge in the market
? Establish strong network and long-term partnership with carriers and co-loaders
? Lead and implement sea freight procurement in Greater China
? Manage the collaboration among the Greater China offices
? Enhance the liaison between Group Sea Freight management and Greater China Sea Freight teams.
? Improve the knowledge and knowhow of Greater China Sea Freight teams
? Increase sea freight market share

Missions:
1. Sea Freight Product Management
? Review and optimize current sea freight products
? Build up new sea freight products to follow closely the market trends and response to client needs.
? Improve the competitive edge of sea freight products
? Product promotion within the Group
2. Carrier Management and Procurement
? Initiate pricing strategy of all trades in accordance with Group strategy
? Analyze cost and profitability in order to reduce cost
? Rate negotiation and contract management with carriers
? Tender management and allocation management
? Provide support to the Group Sea Freight Management team on rate negotiation and tender management
3. Market Intelligence
? Collect and analyze updated market statistics and information
? Share market trends with Greater China and local management teams
? Analyze potential business opportunities and work closely with Greater China sales teams to create tender pipeline and understand customer needs
? Create presentations to promote sea freight products and services internally and externally

4. Co-ordination
? Coordinate with the head office (HO) and other regions to ensure the best approach to important tenders for Greater China
? Work closely with sales teams to enhance business development of LCL/FCL, import/export
5. Management
? Liaise with Sea Freight Operations teams in Greater China to maintain high service standard
? Enhance the collaboration and knowledge sharing among the Sea Freight Operations teams in Greater China
? Optimize and manage all internal sea freight reports
? Participate annual appraisal of Sea Freight teams in Greater China
6. Networking
? Develop and maintain strong relationships with co-loaders, carriers, suppliers and agents
? Attend external sea freight related events to enlarge network

Requirements:
? Degree holder in Logistics, Transportations, or International Trade
? Resident at Hongkong or at Shanghai
? Minimum 10 years of experiences in shipping lines and freight forwarding industry with 5 years of management experiences
? Solid experience and strong knowledge in sea freight operations, pricing and procurement of both LCL/FCL and import/export, especially in transpacific trade
? Strong relations and network with co-loaders and shipping lines in Greater China area
? Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation, networking and interpersonal skills
? Strong management and coordination skills
? Strong analytical, planning and problem solving skills
? Good financial, business and marketing awareness
? Independent decision maker
? Good team player with working experiences in multi-cultural company
? Capable to manage and work on multi-tasks
? Ability to work under stress
? Willing to travel domestically and internationally frequently
? Proficient English skills in both written and spoken; Chinese speaking is preferable; French, German, Spanish or Italian speaking is an advantage
