Position Summary:

This sales position resides within global Automotive Services Division, specifically assigned to China region.

Supervisory Responsibilities: This position is an individual contributor role with no direct reports.

Responsibility:

Identify new business solutions by researching profile accounts including mapping company’s organizational structure, identifying new contracts, understanding the key business drivers and competitive landscape.

Deliver a steady stream of qualified leads to meet quarterly sales goals and generate growth pipeline. Prepare and present current, potential and proposed KPI metrics that includes new revenue and new business growth.

Grow our existing Eu business in close cooperation and optimize to achieve higher profitability. Work closely with the Business Units close business within new or existing accounts.

Communicate Harman’s Connected Services value proposition to prospects, alliance partners and other relevant stake-holders. Review, challenge and approve (technical & cost) estimations to ensure profitability throughout the sales/quotation process.

Prepare quotations and customer presentations with focus on profitability and commercial results against quote.

Establish and optimize necessary management and tracking tool for sales processes Establish relationship with customer procurement and relevant services department leads.

Develop a roadmap of services together with customer and HARMAN product management groups.

Self-Awareness: ·Accept responsibility for personal development and actions. ·Have clear objectives and strives to exceed them ·Takes ownership for personal career and skill development

Industry

·Proven history of consistently over achieving sales goals and quotas.

·Successful experience in a lead generation/sales role. ·Strong technical capability.

·Proven track record in managing multiple opportunities and ability to negotiate and close complex deals. ·Bridge-builder; roll –up-the-sleeves player.

·Analytical and results oriented ·Great communicator: oral, written, presentations.

·Good command of the English language.

Basic Qualifications:

8-10 years with progressively increasing sales responsibility.

Bachelor / Master Degree.

Must have 3-5 years of Automotive sales experience with deep network contacts.

Good knowledge of the Telematics, IVI, Connected Car or Internet of Things.

 

Preferred Qualifications & Desired Competencies:

MBA Engineering or Business. Ability to speak English.

Change Orientation: ·Able to adapt to changing demands and conditions. Act as a Change Management expert and enabler on various projects and programs across the business

Customer Focus: ·Provide exceptional service and quality to external and internal customer. Understanding and working in past organizations that have centralized and de-centralized structures as business requirements change

Eligibility Requirements: ·Willingness to travel 30% of the time.
