JOB DESCRIPTION
The Worldwide Inside Sales (WWIS) Sales Excellence Lead is a trusted strategic advisor role that delivers business insights to expose opportunity that drives efficiency and enables business speed and agility in order to yield increased revenue and market share.
This role will work closely with the Regional Center leaders and will interface with senior level management within SMSG. A successful candidate will have a deep understanding of Inside Sales processes and possess strong influence skills in working in a global and matrixed environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE
• Owns the WWIS pipeline; Drives pipeline health and forecast predictability
• Partners with finance to align pipeline to forecast
• Works closely with WWIS planning to align pipeline and execution with plan
• Responsible for compensation design for all roles
• Sets quotas based on forecast and compensation design
• Drives growth planning initiatives by identifying levers and metrics that will best track and accelerate progress toward goal achievement
• Enable Regional Center leaders to execute against sales priorities
• Drives predictable and timely forecasting
• Delivers accurate weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual performance data to stakeholders and uses judgment to inform sales forecasts at the WW level
• Collaborates closely with Sales Excellence lead of each hub on performance across hubs
• Works with key stakeholders, providing deep insights and shares best practices and trends across regional sales centers
• Drive processes and develops tools including: account planning, forecast and pipeline management, opportunity management, quota Retirement Planning
• Provide business requirements to WWM&O & MSIT to develop automated reporting
• Makes key contributions to the SMSG Business Review and Rhythm of the Business
• Strong interpersonal skills, excellent written and verbal communications skills
IDEAL PROFILE
• 10+ years in sales operations management, including responsibility for forecasting, reporting and improvements to sales tool & processes in a global sales environment
• 5+ years’ experience with data analytics and ability to successfully review data and reports to extract meaningful insights that drive strategies and executive decision-making processes
• Experience in driving cross-organizational efforts to influence others to improve and land sales processes and tools that enhance seller productivity
• Knowledge of current Microsoft sales tools and reporting mechanisms preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in related field required; MBA preferred
