• Planning and realization of end-to-end concepts in manufacturing and assembly planning
• Developing concepts to maximize the efficiency of manufacturing processes
• Planning and integration of customer specific requirements
• Applying Lean-Production philosophies in the planning
• Preparing logistics plans
• Preparing pricing schedules
• Preparing Tender documents and evaluation matrices
• Assisting the customer in the selection of qualified suppliers
• Preparing and presenting status and results to Customers

• Analyzing sites and local environments
• Considering local logistics and resources
• Drawing up plans and presenting schedules of work, often with visual aids such as bar charts and procedures diagrams
• Making comparisons to aid decision makers in selection the best site

• Monitoring progress throughout the project implementation and comparing this with the projected schedule of work
• Liaising with the site agent and surveyor throughout the process, making adjustments to projects as necessary
• Managing sub-suppliers
• Supervising Installation and Commissioning of Equipment
• Acceptance Testing
• Training of Customer’s Employees

• Above-average Degree or Masters in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Manufacturing Technology and 3-5 years experience in the manufacturing industry
• Experience in process planning and efficiency improvement projects for automotive manufacturers, system and engine builders
• Good knowledge and hands on experience of Lean Production in international manufacturing companies
• Experience in the planning process and time management for industrial concerns, founded knowledge about REFA and MTM methods is a plus
• Excellent communication skills, including quick understanding and active listening, good team player
• Ability to meet high quality standard requirements
• Ability to structure complex tasks
• Setting and observing time schedules and budget controlling are as essential as creating status reports
• Willingness to take challenges, work under pressure, keep learning and self-improvement continuously
• Initially based on projects in north-eastern China
• Flexible as most of the subsequent projects are likely to be within China.
• Good command of Chinese and English (knowledge of further languages especially German would be advantageous)
• Ability to support our customers in complex project tasks as well as working in international project teams
