Senior Display Module Engineer
We are seeking a Senior Display Module Engineer to strengthen our R&D team in developing advanced fingerprint systems for mobile phones and other portable devices.
FPC is a leader in the development of capacitive fingerprint sensors and designs the whole system, from advanced custom silicon devices and microelectronic packaging, to algorithms and software for fingerprint recognition and applications on the target devices.
The role
We are looking for a Sr. Display Module Engineer to join Transducer Technology Development team at the R&D department. As a Display Module Engineer you will be responsible for integrating our state-of-the-art fingerprint sensor with AMOLED display panels. You will work very closely with display panel vendors for developing a fabrication process to integrate the fingerprint sensor.
You will serve as a focal point in Transducer Technology Development team and will be responsible for the overall display integration process. This role is interdisciplinary and you will work in a cross-functional team during development of new sensors.
Your main responsibilities are:
? Investigate state-of-the-art AMOLED display process technologies.
? Generate new approaches to integrate fingerprint sensing elements in the display based on your in-depth understating of the panel fabrication process.
? Define integration architecture for AMOLED panels and review performance requirements.
? Work with the rest of the Transducer Technology Development team to understand the fingerprint sensor requirements and working mechanism.
? Work with cross-functional team to do tests and validations on the integrated sensor/AMOLED panel.
The work location is Asia but can be negotiated under certain circumstances.
International travel to FPC suppliers, partners, and customers may occur.
Your background
This role requires a Master of Science in Engineering, such as in electronics, physics, Optics, Mechanics, or the equivalent. Previous industrial experience is a must. You are expected to have an in-depth knowledge of display manufacturing process, especially AMOLED manufacturing process. You also have essential qualities such as being ambitious, motivated and flexible. You need to be comfortable working in a growing company, where you will be expected to assume considerable personal responsibility for your own activities and the company’s success. This also requires you to be a team player who contributes to an open and positive atmosphere in the workplace.
You need to be fluent in spoken and written English and not opposed to traveling abroad.
Success in this role requires:
? A minimum 3 years of hands-on experience and proven track record in the design and development of Flat Panel Displays.
? Demonstrated ability to perform AMOLED design & validation is a must.
? Experience in developing and manufacturing high volume display products preferred.
? Proven track record in AMOLED panel design & process in mainstream flat panel display industry.
? In-depth knowledge of AMOLED TFT and production process.
? Experience in working directly with mainstream AMOLED vendors is preferred.
? Excellent project managements, written and verbal communication skills and people skills are required. 举报 分享
