Key Responsibilities/ Accountabilities
？Manage and develop web and online strategies, direct e-commerce channels, identify and implement key elements to grow Metro’s online presence and exceed profit goals.
？Recommend to top management updated information in the industry about technology solutions, e-commerce systems, product and services, advertising and branding techniques, analytical applications and operational processes.
？Partner with Offer Management team and Supply Chain team to manage product selection for web channels, optimize web content and product availability to customers.
？Partner with Marketing team to initiate and implement on-line promotion and special events, support cross-channel marketing activities, including through social media.
？Supervise Metro’s website image, updates and re-design to ensure overall consistency with brand image, to drive website usability improvement from customers’ perspective.
？Manage and promote online customer service and operations to achieve customer satisfaction and retention.
？Monitor and control inventory discrepancies in collaboration with Supply Chain team to ensure efficiency and accuracy in logistic and warehousing processes.
？Conduct quantitative analysis on shortage, customer return and damage reduction in support of process improvement, to conduct search and survey on customer feedback.
？Lead and direct work of E-Commerce Team, provide training and performance management guidelines in all aspects of e-commerce operations to measure and enhance performance results.
Skills & experience
？Customer-centric, detail-oriented, hands-on operating style, strong quantitative and analytical skills.
？Strong leadership and management capabilities to guide and enhance the team performance, personable and collaborative with skills of retaining and motivating the group.
？Excellent Chinese (Mandarin) and English communication skills, effective relationship building skills with internal and external partners.
？Self-disciplined with ability to work independently and under stress.
？Bachelor’s Degree or above in E-commerce, Marketing, Business Administration or related disciplines, MBA holder preferred.
？At least 10 years in E-commerce operation and marketing management, experience in B-to-C and B-to-B online retailer or multi-channel retail environment is an asset.
？Familiar with all online business tools including (but not limited to) catalog management, content management, online customer service; advanced skills with Web Analytic tools and experience with personalization and product recommendation tools is an asset.
？Has an experience of establishing new organization or new business and starting from zero.
