Senior Research Manager
Guangzhou, China
ROLE MISSION STATEMENT
? Manages the total research needs of a set of clients (representing total billings to be agreed with the Managing Director/Research Director) by initiating researches based on client objectives and supervising their implementation.
? Management and/or supervision of assigned projects from initiation through to implementation, analysis of results and reporting.
? Manages assigned research staff
? Serve key clients

KEY OUTCOMES STATEMENT
? Growth/Strategic - development of technical skill set/competency or supporting in driving TNS expertise
? Responsibility for promoting the service, overseeing projects utilizing the specific service and providing expert advice and training in consultation with regional champions to junior research staff undertaking such projects.
? Contribute to revenue on current clients in line with Company’s objective and initiate contact with clients on new business development
? Act as marketing and research consultant by identifying client needs and designing the most appropriate research methodology in answer to these needs.
? Establish a working relationship with client based on partnership. Professional client interface including briefings, meetings, any project management issues
? Demonstrate innovation at proposal/presentation design stage that impacts client’s directly
? All projects are successfully managed. Deadlines are met and support is provided where necessary. Projects run smoothly and actively work to prevent or minimize errors or mistakes that would lead to loss of executive time or to a financial loss
? Moderation and Interviewing
? Analysis and Reporting
? Junior Researcher Supervision
CAPABILITIES STATEMENT
? Bachelor Degree or Master Degree from top university
? 5 years + experience in market research or related function in either agency side or client side
? Attend all relevant training provided by the company where possible to improve overall research and management/leadership skills
? Show Thought Leadership. In proposal writing, research understanding, insights mining, or management.
? Look for opportunities to contribute at industry conferences
