Duties & responsibilities:
1. Develop, review and revise category plan in partnership with buying directors and in line with company commercial strategy and business targets.
2. Implement the category plan, push and check progression, collaborate with related commercial supporting team, including logistic, quality assurance, promotion, merchandising, etc., to deliver the plan nation-wide.
3. Manage the product range in line with commercial policy, budgets, product quality and pricing and profit requirements.
4. Develop a supply base strategy to drive product group performance, negotiating supplier deals, prices, rebates for all ranges.
5. Develop and actively manage promotion plans for the product group to drive sales and margin performance
6. Implement and supervise management of retail price, display, stock and promotion execution in store.
7. Negotiate annual VBAs to required deadline and targets.
8. Maintain knowledge of the product, competitor price and market development.
9. Guide, coach, and support regional buyers to implement category plan.
10. Manage and coach assistant buyer.

Job knowledge/skill:
? Have experience of entire buying cycle (approximately 2 years minimum experience)
? Sound commercial judgment
? Product sourcing experience required
? Experienced negotiator
? Able to proactively network across functions within the business and within the product market
? Sound financial acumen and excellent analytical skills
? Strong understanding of range building and architecture
? Be of integrity and accountability
