职位描述
Primary Responsibility:
The primary responsibility of the position includes developing and deploying supplier development and performance improvement strategy throughout Asia, managing the SDE team members in supplier capability assessment, Advance Product Quality Planning (APQP), and on-going performance improvement of suppliers in terms of quality, delivery, and operational alignment with manufacturing plants and Purchasing organization:
- Lead the supplier capability assessments as related to quality systems, process controls, manufacturing capabilities, and lean maturity.
- Manage supply chain cost-out projects in leading Advance Product Quality Planning (APQP) process with suppliers, manufacturing plants, and engineering for on-time PPAP submission approval.
- Lead the SDE team in educating suppliers in company's supplier performance. Train suppliers in the deployment of quality systems tools and techniques such as 8D problem solving, Process Capability Study, FMEA, Control Plan, MSA, PPAP, and Lean in terms of material flow. Educate suppliers in company's internal processes to achieve optimal alignment with manufacturing plants, engineering centers, and supplier chain organization.
- Work closely with suppliers, manufacturing plant, engineering, and supply chain organization in root cause analysis and timely interim and permanent corrective actions implementation.
- Lead cross-functional teams in development and deployment of consistent supplier quality related policies, processes, and procedures per ISO/TS 16949. Lead training sessions in educating all users worldwide.
- Helping plants / buyers in the proper use of WISPER application and timely resolution of data integrity issues.
- Lead in publishing & communicating progress against Purchasing goals and facilitate improvements.
- Work as liaison between suppliers and internal functions/plants (Engineering, Plants, Operations, etc.) to clarify requirements, eliminate confusion, and improve definition of requirements.

Requirements:
Formal Qualifications: ?
- Minimum of 8 years experience in Quality, Supplier Quality and/or Supplier Development
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Manufacturing
- At least 3 years' management role
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or other similar engineering fields. Master of Science is a plus.
- Through knowledge of Quality systems, methods and practices; ISO/TS 16949, APQP, FMEA, Control Plan, MSA, and PPAP
- Through knowledge and experience in manufacturing processes such as Electrical, Electronic, etc.
- Certified Quality Auditor (CQA) and Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) is preferred
- Six Sigma Greenbelt required, Six Sigma Blackbelt is preferred
- Lean training and hands on experience is preferred

Competencies & Skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills and problem-solving ability.
- Very good experience in MS-Excel and MS-PowerPoint required
- Strong verbal/written communication skills in both Chinese and English.
