Position: Purchasing Specialist

Job Description
Follows established procedures, practices, and policies to contact vendors, obtain quotations, examine bids, made awards, place orders, and expedite delivery of goods/services.
Exercises good judgment and working knowledge of materials and supports local and/or global sourcing projects.
Negotiates annual, local, and regional agreements and participates in global negotiations where applicable.
Executes competitive bid activities, identifies cost reductions and or quality improvements
Maintains all purchase orders, confidentiality agreements, terms and conditions, contracts, and all other documentation, both paper and electronic, required by purchasing policy.
Be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously with high degree of accuracy.
Possess understanding of basic accounting and budgeting practices.
Be able to favorably influence competitive pricing.
Minimal travel as required
Other tasks the company assigned

Qualification & Experience
Bachelor Degree or above in electronics engineering or information technology
1 year working experience is minimum; 2years or above with strong working experiences in procurement, logistics or administration under electronics industry, EMS enterprise preferred
English in CET4, CET6 / TEM4 preferred, with ERP (Oracle) experience preferred
Commitment to the task assigned, team spirit, self-discipline & good communication skills
