Our client is a full service international architecture firm with a specialised expertise on retail, hospitality, commercial and mixed-use projects. They are looking to hire an architectural designer to join their Shanghai office.


RESPONSIBILITIES:


Produce design and design development drawings, documents and exhibits.
Understand and use current company CAD standards and procedures in the production of design and design development drawings and exhibits.
Develop and maintain a working knowledge of coordination processes between architect and client, governmental agency, tenant, and consultant.
Assist with site planning, site layout, and site criteria conformance as directed by supervisor.
Assist with researching and collecting information as directed by supervisor
Assist with the in-house coordination of architect, tenant and consultant drawings.
Prepare and implement corrections and changes as directed by supervisor.
Assist with project filing as directed by supervisor.
Process print forms, prepare transmittals and ship drawings/documents as directed by supervisor.
Complete assignments on schedule and within budget.
Cultivate relationships with mentor and other senior staff members. Routine questions and/or issues should initially be addressed with immediate supervisor.

REQUIREMENTS:

Professional architectural degree and license in China required.
5-10 year of experience in architectural design.
Experience in concept design development, implementation of creative ideas and architectural rationalization.
Advanced knowledge of architectural design, development and construction documents.
Advanced understanding of architectural design, site planning, design development and graphic presentation.
Advanced knowledge of codes. Able to successfully complete the full scope project delivery process.
Advanced knowledge of architectural detailing and current construction standards.
Proficiency in AutoCAD (latest version), Revit and other graphic and business software and their application in developing and presenting design documents.
Fluent oral and written English communication skills.
