Skills Required:
? Analyse business priorities & strategies and translate these into architecture requirements
? Refine architecture strategies, direction and standards as required
? Ensure continuous alignment of capabilities with current business priorities and objectives
? Provide architectural expertise to project/programme teams as required
? Accountable for driving and overseeing the development of Architecture Roadmaps and Blueprints
? Ensure Architectures are in alignment with Global strategies and solutions
? Analyse IT industry and market trends and determine potential impact
? Accountable for the direction, performance and ongoing health of the current architectures within one or more given portfolios.
? Ensure that major projects/programmes are assessed and reviewed
? Define and manage the Architecture Principles
? Translate common architecture requirements into recommended initiatives and projects
? Partner with third party technology suppliers as required
? Identify architectural inefficiencies and gaps, and lead effort to enhance and extend standard architectural components
? Provide input into third party contracts and required SLAs from an architecture viewpoint

Role & Responsibility:
? 7 years+ experience in a similar or related role with a proven track record of delivering results and making the connections between technology and business benefit/value
? Experience of defining the business strategies and influencing the key stakeholders
? Experience of driving and leading innovative solutions
? Experience of managing and negotiating with third party suppliers
? Proven experience of leading change and using different approaches and methodologies
? Good business acumen
? Awareness of relevant legislation
? Ability to work well in diverse, multinational teams and proven ability to influence others to achieve positive outcomes
? Demonstrate initiative, strong customer orientation, and cross-cultural working
? Understanding of the pharmaceutical/healthcare industry and of competitor activity, on particular architecture and Information Management
? Experience of directing cross functional teams
? People Development experience
? Budget Management experience
