Position summary
Reporting to the Manager for Desktop Service. This individual is responsible for managing escalations for web or video products or SDK support from Teir1 call center agents in order to answer the inquiry with working closely with TRT engineer. Location is Beijing.
Responsibilities
Receive questions about from call center in Japanese and answer the question in Japanese. If you don't have any answers, translate it into English, and then send it to an upper engineer.
Receives the answer from the upper engineer in English, and translate it into Japanese for returning the answer to call center.
Gather product, sales, and support/service information from various sources and provide the information to everyone concerned.
Coordinate to implement support program, support policy, guideline, and new support tools which would be proposed by Readiness Managers
Deliver appropriate materials, specification, and information for new products and upgrades such as beta software and software packages etc to vendors.
Deal with escalated matters, which are including not only technical but also non-technical, such complaint with T1 agent in order to provide answers to customers.
Provide T1 agent with advice of technical information to fill identified knowledge gaps.
Report bugs to appropriate person (e.g. Japan Engineering team, Japanese QE, and TRT).
Share information on issues of potential customer impact with support team.
Communicate technical information and customer requirements with other departments groups
Take on other jobs, which are assigned by the technical support manager temporary or specially.
Requirements
Experience with technical support offerings or engineering/QA
Excellent skills with Windows and MacOS
Spoken/Written communication skill in Japanese and English
1+ year of web industry or video work experience OR 3+ Programing (Java script, Visual C)
Ability to work positively with others
