Be a part of deploying and mmanaging Addobe's enor rmous and ggeographically-diverse ddata
centeers that powwer the Digital Marketingg Suite. Thiss is an oppoortunity to be key in
improoving, re-deefining and ccreating the systems thaat manage hhow enormoous data setss are
manaaged amonggst thousandds of machinnes and acrooss multiplee environmeents.
Respponsibilities
. Build and creeate tools fo r managing and migratiing large-scaale databasees across
thhousands off machines in multiple ddatacenters.
. WWork across groups (devvelopment, qquality engineering, tecch-ops) withh a variety off
perspectives to define annd manage bbusiness andd technical rrequirements and transslate
thhese requireements into real softwarre.
. Experience wwith OpenSoource tools aand productts for leveragging them too improve aand
automate sysstems and pprocesses.
. AAble to undeerstand a divversity of prooducts creatted in a varieety of languages in ordeer to
add features for improveed manageability.
Requuirements
. Bachelors or above, Commputer Sciennce or relateed field
. 5+ years Softtware Engineeering experience or eqquivalent inddustry experrience
. MMySQL
. Expert in archhitecting and scaling MyySQL deployyments
. Expert in MySSQL administration
. Expert in SQLL
. Syystem Manaagement
. Diagnosing and debugging interactions on Linux systems
. Profiling machines
. Software Development
. Familiar with Unix scripting in Bourne shell, PHP, and Python
. Agile development practices
. Comfortable with VCS (SVN, Git, Perforce) Perks
