Be a part of deploying and mmanaging the enormouss and geogrraphically-diverse data
centeers that powwer the Adobbe Digital Marketing Suite. This is aan opportunnity to be key in
improoving, re-deefining and ccreating the systems thaat manage hhow software is deployeed to
thoussands of maachines and in multiple eenvironmennts. If you likke machine configuratioon,
Linuxx system maanagement, network inffrastructure and have a desire to puull it all together
with good softwaare development practices in various languagees then this iis it! This isnn't
abouut propping uup mail servvers or simple bash scrippting, but diigging into t he depths oof
diverrse technoloogies to bring it all togetther.
Respponsibilities
. Build and creeate tools fo r managing deploymennt to thousannds of machhines.
. WWork across groups (devvelopment, qquality engineering, tecch-ops) withh a variety off
perspectives to manage deployment to multiplee environmeents in geoggraphically
diverse locations.
. AAutomate maanagement of virtual mmachines andd virtual clussters for devvelopment aand
teest environmments.
. CCreate RPM ppackages, YUM repositoories and methods for ccreating audditable,
reeproducible and managgeable build, test, develoopment andd productionn environmeents.
. WWork with syystems for tigghtly integraating the traacking of buggs, features,, source codde,
builds, packaages and depployments.
. Experience wwith OpenSoource tools aand productts for leveragging them too improve aand
automate sysstems and pprocesses.
. AAble to undeerstand a divversity of prooducts creatted in a varieety of languages in ordeer to
add features for improveed manageability.
Requirements
. Bachelors or above, Computer Science or related field
. 10 years Software Engineering experience or equivalent industry experience
. Machine Management
. RPM package building
