Job Description:
Reporting to the Global Compliance Director, the AP Compliance Counsel will spearhead the legal compliance function for Keysight in the Asia-Pacific region, including Greater China, Japan, Korea, Australia and Southeast Asia. The role will work closely with Internal Audit, business leaders, Finance, HR, and others to strengthen a culture of compliance with applicable laws, codes, and Keysight’s Standards of Business Conduct. Keysight is looking for a talented Mandarin-speaking lawyer with high emotional maturity and interpersonal skills to join our compliance team and lead in this critical region.

Specifically, the AP Compliance Counsel will play an integral part in:

? Developing and conducting live training for employees on ethics and compliance topics
? Conducting internal investigations of alleged misconduct, including document review, interviews and gaining alignment with relevant stakeholders (e.g., HR, Legal, the business) on mitigations for misconduct
? Advising internal business clients on a variety of compliance matters, including compliance with the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, the UK Bribery Act, and other applicable anti-corruption, export compliance, data privacy, and competition laws
? Drafting and revising internal policies to provide employees resources to maintain compliance with laws
? Conducting regional and global risk assessments
? Participating in transactional due diligence and post-acquisition integration activities
? Monitoring industry and regional compliance trends and advising internal personnel on compliance best practices

Qualifications:

Education: J.D. or local equivalent law qualification

Experience: A minimum of 4-6 years of experience in a recognized international law firm or in-house legal or compliance department, primarily handling compliance or investigation matters. The ideal candidate will have experience working with or managing cross functional teams to develop compliance policies and processes.

Languages: English + Mandarin.
