Role purpose:

Working in the LR Academy to determine and implement the delivery of learning and development initiatives across LR, which equip managers and employees with the skills, knowledge and desired behaviours to deliver a brilliant experience to clients both internally and externally. Manage, develop and deliver a portfolio of development activities which support the LR Values and behaviours and helps to support a high performance culture

Key Responsibilities:
Contribute to implementation of the LR learning strategy
Use learning needs analysis to determine ‘non-technical’ learning requirements utilising all relevant information and data, such as PPP, PDPs performance information and regular consultation with the business
Develop and deliver a portfolio of development options which support current business objectives and future business requirements

Develop an area learning plan which is part of the overall global learning plan and aligned with the business and people strategy

Establish strong relationships with external suppliers and third parties, review and select preferred suppliers based on high quality delivery of the required development solutions

Organise and deliver leadership development events, including development centres in line with global and area requirements

Support the delivery of learning associated with group wide programmes

Champion the Learning Management System and support colleagues to maximise their learning and development by utilising the system and its tools

Complete the full learning cycle by conducting appropriate methods of evaluation, analysing data and making continuous improvements to learning content and delivery

Work with content designers and technology specialists to create opportunities to introduce appropriate learning technology innovations and best practices L&D activities

Facilitating the social learning environment so that colleagues can generate share knowledge and learn from each other.
Keep up to date with developments in Learning & Development and present back information to the LRA team

Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships with the business

Technical / Professional Qualifications / Requirements:
Professional membership of HR or equivalent training institute (e.g. CIPD) desirable

Excellent communication and influencing skills (written and oral) with a collaborative approach to working with colleagues, partner agencies and suppliers
Best practice and industry trends in learning and development with a deep understanding of how to land and manage solutions in a large, complex organisation
Ability to implement the full learning cycle

Experience of delivering a range of soft skills training including management and leadership development
Excellent analytical skills and the ability to explain to a variety of stakeholders the impact of training requirements on their business area
