We are currently seeking a high caliber professional for the position of Senior Manager in our National Facility Management and Security Team. This role will report to the National Professional Environment Services and Security Leaders and work closely with regional offices in Hong Kong, Macau and the Mainland China.
Responsibilities
· Manage space projects to ensure best allocation and utilization of space for current or new premises
· Provide technical coordination for construction works, monitor contractor performance and cost control
· Review building specifications for potential new office locations
· Conduct vendor sourcing and manage tender process
· Administer facilities contracts including emergency systems and procedures
· Initiate strategies to achieve measurable improvements in building operations including Green initiatives
· Manage projects on building maintenance, statutory requirements and ensure compliance
· Preparation of annual property and physical security budget
· Develop and steward health & safety programs in the workplace including fire safety, coordination and training of fire marshals
· Coordinate facility/physical security including security systems, measures, and access control across regions and offices and respond to facility emergency events
· Liaise effectively with law enforcement and security vendors in relation to provision of emergency and security support services
· Conduct regular threat and vulnerability assessment and keep facility/physical security policies, plans and procedures up-to-date (e.g. emergency response plan)
· Investigate security breaches and incidents, report and escalate appropriately, and keep incident records for lessons learned and analysis
· Lead the provision of office business continuity plans and exercise BCP plans to a set timetable
· Participate in the firm's Audit, Review and Assessment in relation to security management
Requirements
· Degree holder in property management, facilities management or related discipline
· Minimum 7 years' relevant experience, of which minimum 2 years at managerial level gained from Corporate Real Estate, Facilities, Security, or relevant industry
· Experience with a sizable real estate consultancy firm or multi-national corporation would be an advantage
· Working knowledge of physical security and business continuity
· Recognized security and safety qualifications and certifications are a plus
· Excellent customer service with good communication and negotiation skills
· Strong planning and organization skills, able to work under pressure, and work a flexible schedule if required
· A team player with strong sense of ownership
· Strong numerical sense, detail oriented
· Excellent command of both written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua)
· Proficient in MS office
· Willing to travel domestically
· Candidates with less experience will be considered as Manager
