Site Service Engineer (Industrial Steam Turbine Installation & Commissioning Eng.)
Tasks
- Conduct/support new steam turbine and its auxiliaries site installation & commissioning and/or supervision
- Trouble Shooting / (Initial) Fault Investigations
- Re-commissioning of steam turbine after Outages
- Responsible for technical correctness and partly the quality control.
- Reporting and technical documentation
- Project execution coordination between customer and HQs.
- Customer support on operating issues / participation in customer training, if required.
Entry Qualifications
- Education : Bachelor or Master’s degree in mechanical engineering
- Experience : at least 3 years of direct experience with steam turbines installation/commissioning/engineering
- Languages skills : English fluently (mandatory)
- Willing to take frequent travel
- Other : Intercultural & Communication Skills, Ability to work on his own, Willingness to work outside home country (at least during training)
- Required Training (Classroom and/or on-job)
- Familiarization with Siemens steam turbines, control/electric system(s), auxiliary, technical documentation, operating requirements / parameters (focus on equipment installed in region)
- Training and Participation in New Unit installation & commissioning
- Duration : 0.5 – 1.5 years, may be reduced if candidate has relevant experience
