Role Summary/Purpose

GE is an equal opportunity employer, offering a great work environment, challenging career opportunities, professional training and competitive compensation.The Sourcing Manager is responsible for developing, implementing and leading the supplier strategy for sourcing products and services for defined Purchase Family, Product Segment or P&L based purchasing. They will strategically secure contractual agreements to meets business needs, lead supplier simplification, and execution on activities to optimize productivity, quality & fulfillment through strategic supplier relationships.

Essential Responsibilities

• Leading the development & execution of sourcing strategies that deliver a competitive advantage including implementation of the strategic supplier initiatives. • Leading Purchase Family, Product Segment or P&L specific sourcing with full accountability for buy and a double digit Material Cost Reduction target by setting strategic direction for global/regional Sourcing professionals. • Leading the development & execution of sourcing strategic initiatives to ensure optimal cost productivity, fulfillment, and obsolescence/life-cycle management by leveraging standardization and latest industry practices. • Developing strategies and driving negotiations to achieve quality, fulfillment and productivity for GEHC • Building deep relationships with Strategic Suppliers Relationships driving early supplier engagement into GE’s New Product Introduction (NPI) process, and long-term partnership for wing-to-wing product lifecycle. • Partnering with Suppliers to develop fulfillment strategies, driving fulfillment to 95% on time, minimum for all suppliers. • Supporting Supplier Quality Program, ensuring supplier compliance with FDA, EHS, transportation and other regulatory and reputation requirements, driving replacement part quality initiatives, and quality levels to 5000 Defect Parts Per Million (DPPM) or lower for all suppliers 1. Aware of and comply with the GEHC Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality Management Policy, Quality Goals, and applicable laws and regulations as they apply to this job type/position 2. Complete all planned Quality & Compliance training within the defined deadlines 3. Identify and report any quality or compliance concerns and take immediate corrective action as required 4. Proficient knowledge and understanding of GEHC Purchasing Controls Procedure and associated Work Instructions and operates within them to ensure that all purchased product and services conform to specified requirements. 5. Lead the development and maintaining of fully qualified and compliant supply base.

Qualifications/Requirements

1. Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Procurement, Supply Chain Management, or Finance2. Minimum of 6 years experience in Supply Chain, Operations and/or Commercial background3. Excellent business/financial acumen, proficient in leading and setting direction for teams, including demonstrated ability to motivate, influence and drive change at all levels of the organization4. Excellent growth leadership skills demonstrating clear global perspective and understand factors impacting GEHC businesses and our suppliers5. Willing to travel domestically and internationally up to 25% of time6. Influence/communication - establishes good relationships; drives change across functional & global boundaries
