Job Description
We’re looking for a Purchasing Assistant to join our company. This role requires communicating with suppliers, creating purchase orders, importing, processing, checking orders, and supporting the Purchasing Supervisor.
Duties
-Manage online orders
-Prepare orders accurately and efficiently with attention to detail
-Efficiently and thoroughly document action steps taken in appropriate computer systems
-Collaborate with all our supplier in order to provide good experience to our customers
-Stay up to date on company products, features and programs as well as industry trends
-Perform additional functions that may be assigned at the discretion of management
Qualifications
Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills
Good judgment with the ability to make timely and sound decisions
Versatile, flexible, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment
Solid written and verbal communication skills
Self-motivated, independent, energetic, and highly detail-oriented
Computer literate, comfortable with Microsoft Office, Access, and Google Docs
Purchasing experience preferred, e-commerce a plus
