Goals/Mission
- Layout and calculation, Basic Mechanical Engineering -detailed engineering drawings.
- Supporting the set up of the procurement process and Engineering Liaison (headquarters and Customers)
Working Partners/Contacts
- Suppliers, customers
Tasks
- Prepare conceptual layouts of steelmaking equipment capacity to enable mechanical electrical engineers to create further basic and detail engineering.
- Act as a link between SLC and headquarters, or headquarters and customers.
- Estimating and keeping track of hours required to carry out individual engineering tasks.
- Ensure all drawing prepared by subordinates conformed to all Siemens standards and that the engineering is of the standard expected by Clients of Siemens.
Education
- Bachelor or above
- Major in material or metallurgy
Knowledge/Languages
- Knowledge of 2D design with AutoCAD mechanical and 3D mechanical design with SolidEdge/SolidWorks/UG
- Familiar with the principle of mechanical deign technology and / or mechanical engineering
- Good English communication skills, and also good at technical English
Experience
- Experience minimum 3-5 years experience as Steel Making Process Engineer in the steel industry.
- Experience in Steel Industry, Heavy Industry, Steel Making plant experience is a must.
