Objective of job
- Build up and strength good relationship with various government authorities/organizations;
- Engage and influence key policy & regulation stakeholder;
- Develop and present Daimler's position on technical regulation with the support from HQ;
- Cooperate and support internal customer (DAG, DNEA, MBCL, DPTS and JV relevant functions) on technical regulation issues;
Assist to develop and manage the strategic regulation projects;

Task designation
1 Critical regulations (e.g., emission, electric vehicle, including BEV, PHEV, HEV, Fuel-cell and etc. ) monitoring:
- Following up the development of related regulations/standards
- Participate discussions on the related standard drafts and update DAG colleagues and coordinate feedback to/from DAG
- Lobby with authorities towards harmonisation of regulations/ standards
- Collaborate with competitors to address common issues and make joint lobbying efforts with authorities
- Coordinate implementation and compliance of new regulations where applicable together with DAG colleagues
2 Strategic projects management:
- Develop and update the project plan
- Organise the project meeting
- Monitor the progress of project and report to relevant parties timely
- Push the relevant parties to secure the target of project
- File the project documents properly
3 Internal regulation sharing and requests supporting:
- Support Certification Group and Testing Group on the technical regulation
- Update the internal relevant parities on the development of regulation via regular information sharing meeting
- Answer the request from internal customers on regulation

Automotive product related knowledge, people orientated, technical regulation knowledge
O Experience and education
University degree in engineering with good computer skills. Automobile product knowledge/experience is preferable.
Fluent in spoken and written English and Chinese. Able to work independently as well as together with the team

O Management and leadership skills,
Good communication skill with internal and external partners
