What are my responsibilities?
- Mission of function: Responsible for operation and maintenance of MHS installation with focus on PLC and electrical system. Get familiar with the PLC software installed for being able to check in the SW for trouble shooting and small modifications.
- Dimensions of functions: Shift work to support to find solution to technical issues occurring during MHS operation and maintenance. Communicate issues to Engineering department.
- Internal contact: project teams on-site, specialists of back office support
- External contact: specialists of client
- Trouble shooting of computer control software for logistic automation applications MHS
- Support development and procurement, especially of PLC software
- Supervision of PLC SW deployment, test and commissioning
- Consultancy to project teams to find optimal solutions to questions related to applications
What do I need to qualify for this job?
- Siemens PLC HW, Simatic STEP 7 Platform, Windows/Unix server system, PLC software engineering, application, PLC communication (Profibus), Electric knowledge, Frequency inverter application, Industrial automation, Logistics automation
- 3 years experience with MHS, logistics process automation, and software development and engineering
- Comprehensive knowledge and experience with product and solution development in the area of control and automation
- Ability to conduct technical communication, readiness to work in team and to do shift work
- Experience with English as working language preferred
