CallisonRTKL is seeking a Billing Assistant to join its Project Accounting team in our Shanghai office. This entry level position is responsible for standard financial transactions for client contracts and is responsible for performing a variety of routine accounting functions to assist in the day-to-day maintenance of an accurate general ledger at the direction of a project accountant.

Responsibilities

? Prepare and send payment requests and issue fapiao for projects in China
? Ensure accuracy of client billing information in fapiao system
? Communicate with tax bureau for any fapiao issues (i.e: purchase fapiao, solve the issue of losing fapiao and fapiao due etc…)
? Coordinate with tax specialist for monthly tax declaration on time
? Set up, monitor and track marketing pursuit projects in system
? Review the cost of pursuit project monthly basis and take action as needed
? Assist PA to complete transactions when need within required deadlines
? Assist PA to move cost when needed within required deadlines
? Effectively communication with all levels of staff/management both external and internal
? Enforce Company Policies on pursuit project set up and Related Procedures

Qualifications and Requirements
? Academic certificates at or above the junior college level is required
? Have accountant certificate
? Fluent in Chinese and English (both oral and written)
? Proficient with computer spreadsheet packages and general accounting software
? Minimum 2 years clerical or accounting experience. Experience in a professional service industry preferred.
? Detail oriented with excellent time management skills
? Excellent communication (Chinese and English) and customer services skills
